Scout Trail in Joshua Tree National Park

Map to Hike JT11 Trail Head This hike starts at a dirt parking lot trailhead just past the West Entrance Station, before you get to hidden Valley.

The trail meanders through the desert

Left: The size of the rocks is amazing. The "bush" in the middle of these rocks is a full Size Tree! The Pile of rocks, the side of  mountain.

Mount San Gergonio as seen through the rocks.
