GP02 - Hiking in Glacier National Park - Big Horn Ram Report GP02

Its a Big Horn Ram! Nancy and I were on the spur trail from Hidden Lake above Logan Pass when we met two guys from Germany. They were all excited. They told us about a big elk sleeping next to the trail. Knowing how skittish elk are, I checked my camera. I knew I would only have time for a shot or two. Turns out it was a big horn Ram, not an elk. Even better!! I set up the tripod and starting shooting when a mountain goat and her baby walked out of the brush and into the picture. We couldn't believe our luck!. Here are the photos.
